The marsh of the lowcountry wears many faces.  There are the storms that sweep over the sawgrass, the still of the the grass when the moon filters though to the quiet water, the blazing sun of summer.  This work, "Gentle Morning" displays the soft, warm clouds as the sun creeps up over the horizon.  Life stirs, awakening to the day.
